I have a few Actress postcards I would like to sell. Can you tell me how much they are worth and where to sell them?

I am not an expert and would not presume to give valuations. Cards are regularly offered for sale on eBay which should give some indication of the prices they sell for, but it depends very much on the condition of the card and the subject of the photo. Photo's of some stars, whilst popular, are easily available so value is low. Others (eg. Sarah Bernhardt, Anna Pavlova, Adeline Genee, Lillie Langtry) are rarer and/or more sought after so value is high. To sell your cards you could take them to a card fair (see list of events linked from my pages) but don't expect to be offered very much for them. You would probably get a fairer price auctioning them on ebay.

I am looking for information on Jane Doe. What can you tell me about her?

If there is a page on my site related to Jane Doe then whatever is there is probably all the information I have. If she doesn't (yet) appear on my pages it is possible I may have some information about her among my various records. However, there were literally thousands of young actresses active at the time to which this website refers, many of whom had short and unsung careers. If you wish to ask this type of question please post it on the forum. If I have anything I will post it there and other visitors to this site may do the same.
