Brief facts:
- Born 18th Januanry, 1870 - Kensington (England).
- Died 9th January, 1951.
- Daughter of solicitor Henry Nethersole.
- Joined the British Red Cross in 1916 (during World War I) and was on the nursing staff
of the Hampstead Military Hospital as a VAD until 1919.
- Founded the People's League of Health in 1917, an organisation she was long involved with doing much charitable work promoting healthcare.
- Arrested by NY Police over her role in 'Sapho'.
